Good morning/midday/evening to you! In business today, we have so many questions and so few real answers. It is soooooo frustrating to look for advice or answers on the internet today. No matter the problem, the net gives you an AI-generated answer with very little detail and, in general, a generic solution to a particular problem.

When I write an article, blog post or legal opinion, I sometimes deliberately use strange words and spelling to show that the text was written by a real person and not a Bot in some high-tech lab 🙂

As a skilled legal researcher with a deep passion for law, I have authored academic papers on International Human Rights Law, International Criminal Law, the Law of War and Conflict, and International Corporate Governance Law. My extensive background in corporate disputes and new business development has shaped my role as a Mediator and Law Consultant at Trade and Legal Ltd, where I am dedicated to facilitating fair and effective resolutions.
In addition to my work in high-level legal research and mediation, I strive to make the law accessible for the small business owner. To this end, I write business law articles in clear, straightforward language, helping entrepreneurs navigate legal complexities with confidence.
My Master of Laws degree from Liverpool John Moores University has equipped me with a comprehensive understanding of international legal frameworks, which enhances the consultancy services I offer. I am a proud member of the British branch of the esteemed International Law Association, as well as an accredited member of the International ADR Register. Furthermore, as a member of the Compliance Institute of Southern Africa, I uphold the highest standards of integrity and professionalism, ensuring that the organizations I work with are well-prepared to thrive in today’s ever-changing business landscape.

Currently we are cruising the canals of the UK in our 40′ narrowboat, Spirit of Sproglet. The boat also serves as my ‘office’ and I can conduct my Trade & Legal consultancy business whilst exploring the UK canals and rivers. We have recently bought an ancient Talbot campervan and can now visit sites where the canals don’t reach.
